"Our stay at Puerto Azul Hotel Y Club Nautico was good overall. They accommodated our very late check-in at 1:30 am, which was appreciated since our flight was late getting into San Jose. The breakfast was good, and we also attended a boat tour to Tortuga Island, which departed directly from the docks at the hotel, which was very convenient. "I loved the large thermal water pool, and my husband loved the steam room, warm pool and cool pool. We also liked being in an environment with the majority of people being Costaricense, as we weren't interested in an exclusive tourist resort."

"The views and the private beach feel is why you stay at this property! The house has some quirks but when I go on vacation to Costa Rica, I’m wanting to be outside. We saw monkeys and macaws as well which was an added bonus. Hosts were great communicators and also recommended a masseuse that came to the house which was a great experience. "
