"We liked the place. Room was great etc. The elevator is funky, requiring patrons to fully close cage door when exiting. If not done properly, others can't use. Otherwise, the place was great."

"Beautiful historical building and well maintained. Pool is amazing, staff incredibly helpful and lovely. Location perfect close to everything h, walking distance but quiet and private. Willl be the p lo ace I would always stay next time I’m in Zanzibar! "

"The hotel is well staffed and are always happy to help. The hotel and accommodation is very clean and is constantly kept clean. The pools are warm and relaxing. The Masai on the beach are warm and welcoming but can be a little full on at times, but hotel security are great at moving them along if you want to be left alone. The food and entertainment are fabulous and range if all inclusive drinks are great. Spoilt for choice with restaurants and food. I never go back to the same hotel, but this is one I would consider returning back to. "
