"Though a little away from things and I somehow got lost every single time I set foot outside, I did enjoy staying here. The pool was delightful and the A/C was a lifesaver. "It was our second time at the Raha Leo Inn in less than a week. This time we had a room that the shower did not have hot water, and just a little water, the young man forgot to book our taxi driver and lies about it after. But the young lady (manager) took care of everything after. For the price and for an over night it is very good. "

"What a wonderful stay - the room was comfortable and chic with strong AC, a comfort bed, and a nice bathroom. The rooftop bar and pool were lovely with amazing views of the ocean. Benjamin and the other staff were extremely helpful and friendly. The location was great - right in the heart of Stone Town. I highly recommend it! "

"I stayed here one night after landing in stone town. Perfect spot to nap on and off to get through the jet lag and be right in the heart of stone town. Extremely walkable to sites. The rooms are spacious, excellent shower and super comfy bed. Very clean and was just what I was looking for. Please note that it was a bit difficult to find. The taxi just dropped me off on the main road because cars can’t access the small streets. Once you know where it is, it’s super simple to return to"

The check in was while sitting in a living room, they explain me all of the option for a day tour, the took care of my laundry after treking the Kilimanjaro. "This hotel is a great little haven of serenity set right on the beach front with friendly hospitality. The staff are really helpful and will do as little or as much for you as you want. The breakfast is fresh, healthy and sufficient. There are plenty of little restaurants in in the village or along the beach front but the hotel will cook for you if you wish and the food is great."

Staff hardly speak English I booked online through Expedia then I got there was asked to pay again .. bad management and cannot sleep due to bar bieng too close to the bedrooms blasting music and noise coming from drunk people beds are so uncomfortable and space is very small … had to leave after finding another hotel 6 hours later as they were demanding me to pay again "

"It’s a lovely spot in a quieter/less built up area of the island. There are options for restaurants nearby (including The Rock restaurant, only a couple minutes walk down the beach) although not as many as some of the more developed areas. Konokono Beach Resort and Isaraya Over Water Villa

"Konokono was a beautiful resort. I really enjoyed the beauty of the bungalow beach villa we stayed in. It was my birthday and they welcomed me with a little decoration in the room which was so cute. The food was great, it definitely gave fine dining but the fixed menu for dinner was delicious. The staff were very nice and helpful. There are monkeys on site, which was cool. They also have someone you can book activities with at lobby. The beach is beautiful but close up to shore needs to be cleaned and or need to put a garbage near by so people don’t litter. The only thing i could say about this hotel is that it is a very quiet and peaceful resort. Not much amenities. So if you are looking for somewhere to just have peace and quiet then this is your place. There is no vibes here just a laid back getaway. Beatrice was very nice and the staff as well. I think it would be good for them to promote that this hotel is a tranquility hotel so that people are not caught off guard with the type of vibes they may be looking for during their stay. Nevertheless it’s a beautiful resort in Zanzibar. "

"Right on the beach in StoneTown .This hotel is unmatched for location as well as service. Friendly and caring staff who are happy to assist with all your needs. Rooms were clean and comfortable with air-conditioned, a mini fridge, and kettle with coffee and tea provided. Great pool areas which were well maintained. A charming place with lots of history. I would definitely stay again!"
