"Liked- Good location, spacious room and excellent staff behaviour. Reasonably good spread for breakfast. Disliked- The property is old and seemed to be a little short of maintenance. A little more attention can be given towards cleanliness. Breakfast was good but whatever else we ordered was not as good like everywhere else in China."

"Room was fairly large though not in a very central location. A bit of a walk into main area near Drum Tower. Comfort of room was pretty good though not much of a view from my hotel room. If you are after something in a more central location then there are plenty of other options available closer to the central city area. "I was able to check in at 9.30am rather than the 2pm stated on the website which really helped after a long night train from Beijing. The room was huge with two big beds and a late bathroom with seperate shower and bath and many toiletries included.
