"We last stayed at the Waterwheel in April 2016 and were very impressed with the ambiance and quality of the property, cuisine and customer service. Our recent visit confirmed our previous experience and there has been a big expansion of the rooms but retaining the intimate nature of the Inn. Food and service still amazingly good, with breakfast to die for! Very highly recommended and we shall be back."

"Fabulous location, beautiful hotel and a lovely room with sea view. However, the dining room, facilitated by inexperienced "teenagers" was unacceptable for a 5 star establishment. We originally intended to eat in the hotel for the duration of our 4-night stay but after the first night experience and despite there being no other options locally, we decided to drive 8 miles, rather than eat there again."

"The room we were given was very clean and comfortable for our 2night stay at Truro. It was also very convenient with free parking and easy access to local amenities. "Great place for a family get together. Plenty of room to spread out. Hot tub and games room were well used. The house is bright, modern and comfortable. Some of the double bedrooms were smaller than expected but fine overall. Beds were very comfortable. It was useful to have extra living space in the annexe. The lounge there became a temporary home office. One downside-the dishwasher was not adequate for the number of people staying at full occupancy. We spent too much time at the kitchen sink....
