"We were super happy with our unit. The three bedrooms were good size. The TV in the main area was easy to set up with our gaming system. The kitchen and fridge we also good size and can handle a fair amount of groceries. The owner was very responsive to any questions we had. The deck was nice and had a beautiful view of the river and dam. If we come back to Alma, we will most certainly stay here again and perhaps rent an additional unit for more friends we'd like to come out with us. "

"We had a very nice stay at the Big River Inn! The unit looked just like the photos. The location is great; you can walk to numerous places to eat or grab a beer. There are museums, places to hike, and so much scenic beauty close by. The hosts were great with their communication. The only downside (as others have noted) is that you will hear trains here, although they seem quieter at night. "

"Property is in a beautiful historical building located within walking distance of many downtown establishments. Also took advantage of the bike trails in the area. Enjoyed the full kitchen stocked with everything we needed for our 2 night stay. Only suggestion might be to upgrade with more comfortable funiture in the living room area. Overall we very much enjoyed our stay! "

"At first I was skeptical of the building, but when I went upstairs and saw the inside of the apartment I was relieved to know that the listing was very honest to what it was actually like. Everything was very nice and I enjoyed my stay. There were just a few bugs I had to kill but it wasn’t a bad g deal to me."

"We were in La Crosse for a tournament. Wanted somewhere quiet but close to ball field. It was a very quiet spot, kitchen was well stocked, and beds were very comfortable. Our host was super. She gave us info on the area, bought the coffee, and even made chicken on the grill. We could relax by the dock."
