There is noise from traffic outside as the hotel is on a main road but this is reflected in the excellent price and didn’t bother us at all. "Good value room. Clean. Everything needed and although a little old fashioned in places, fits the characterful building. TV and kettle. Some efforts underway to maintain and redecorate. You need to let the shower run for at least 2-3 min for the hot water to come through, but good flow and pressure. Staff helpful and convenient location for the City centre, just by the cathedral.
