"We chose Leighton House because it had free onsite parking while still being walkable to the center of town. Room was great, very clean and spacious. Great shower. Breakfast was fantastic. Location was great for us - very quiet with little traffic going by, yet still only ~15 minute easy walk into the town, where we went for a spa visit and dinner. Overall, a great stay and I would highly recommend!"

"Having read a few previous reviews wasn’t sure what to expect. Some said stairs were awful. Both me and my wife found the stairs fine. But anyone with restricted mobility may struggle. . Room spotlessly clean. Breakfast voucher in room to be used at local pub. Voucher value is £15pp. Full breakfast is £13.95. Then drinks are extra. So you end up paying a bit extra which isn’t made clear when you book. There are cheaper options on menu though. "

"It was a lovely stay, staff were really friendly, the rooms were lovely. Only complaint I'd have is when we went to shower the water wasn't hot at all, it was barely warm, this could have been because we showered late in the evening but apart from this this place was lovely.
