"Was a nice room. But wow was it roasting hot. We could find anywhere of turning the heating down or off so had a very hot night, even with fans on. The toilet however had no heating so was the opposite and freezing. Nice to have our own little room but think it was too pricey, compared to the many other hotels we stay in for major race events. Breakfast was toast, yogurts or 3 choices of cereal, nothing for vegetarians and not really a continental as offered. "

"We had a very comfortable stay. Our room was warm and looked newly decorated and very well equipped.. The bedding and bathroom were very clean and staff were lovely. The breakfasts were wonderful and cooked beautifully. A 15min walk into town for us seniors. Would recommend this establishment. thank you"

"It was a nice stay. I had a long term stay that was over 30 days. I had the double room, and i felt like it was cramped due to the ceilings. I had to constantly be stooping over or craining my neck in the room. I wouldn't rebook this room for a stay longer than a week. The owner was great and very nice."

"When we arrived we were welcomed by our hostess and taken round to the shepherd hut. It had everything we needed and was very comfortable. The bed was high standard and we slept well. Breakfast was goid and included a vegetarian option. It was brought to our door and was still very warm. Wevloved hearing the birds singing and even saw a woodpecker in the hedge opposite. "Property was clean and the staff were very friendly . I loved the the cups , saucers and teapot that were supplied by the host. Downside a bit further out of town than we really wanted . You have to drive to get to the centre of Cambridge . The local area had a choice of eateries and we ate at the Waterman Pub and the food was good .S😊"

"We stayed for one night while on business The building is a quirky old place and had been a school! The large rooms have been divided into a number of cosy well appointed rooms Check in was self service and very well organised Ordering breakfast was via a well designed form Lisa and Phil are lovely and we met them at breakfast! Breakfast is one of the best I've ever had, all freshly cooked by Phil! Highly recommended "

"This aparthotel was a great choice for us, only a 15 minute drive to the centre of Cambridge and there were many amenities around the hotel. We spent our day in Cambridge but ate/drank at the bars and restaurants that were a 2 minute walk away from the hotel. The value for money was extremely good. Just one thing to note was parking at the hotel was £15 a night or outside the hotel was ringo parking, which after 6pm till 8am is free so we ended up spending less than a £5 so if you get your timings right it’s a great option to save a bit of money. Myself and partner really enjoyed the cocktail bar onsite (deuces) and the roof top bar for drinks and the food at the Astronomer restaurant was incredible. Would definitely recommend and would like to go back."
