"Was a nice room. But wow was it roasting hot. We could find anywhere of turning the heating down or off so had a very hot night, even with fans on. The toilet however had no heating so was the opposite and freezing. Nice to have our own little room but think it was too pricey, compared to the many other hotels we stay in for major race events. Breakfast was toast, yogurts or 3 choices of cereal, nothing for vegetarians and not really a continental as offered. "

"Lol very place to stay, friendly B&B with great owners and their family. It was like staying at my aunt's and loved it. Very clean, off street parking, bed was very comfortable and I slept well ( I have a bad back but bed was great) Freshly cooked breakfast with a choice up to a full English with cereals, juice and tea/coffee"

"Steven was very helpful, beds comfy, able to leave bags during the day. Quite noisy due tobeing on main road but very convenient for town centre. "

"Terrific staff. Very large room, king bed we're excellent linens. The bathroom towel warmer was a nice plus. They were very welcoming when we arrived and took a straight to our room even though it was very late. We slept well and really enjoyed the easy walk into town. About 8 minutes. Excellent parking right out front, completely off the street. I could hear a very slight amount of noise from the street but there was also a fan in the room and that blocked it out nicely. "A little night away with my partner , lovely hotel and grounds , we stayed in the blue room which they call the stables it’s separate from the main hotel . Lovely room all that you need is provided in the room . They don’t provide dinner but on their website you can find restaurants that are close by to book also breakfast is not included in with the room however you can purchase breakfast if you wish too . Overall a lovely little hotel with very friendly staff that make you feel very welcome.....
