"We have stayed here many times. It is always clean, comfortable and access to the international terminal is excellent. Twice in our stays one of our family has left something valuable behind in the room but when enquiring (within 24 hours) on having it returned, we have been told nothing has been handed in so that is where the hotel process seems to stop. A bit more effort on this would be good."

"The Rydges property was an enjoyable stay, but the room rate of $399 taxes (total $438) was not justified. All services and facilities were good, but did not justify the room rate. In future I will book another option. The surrounding neighborhood is less than desirable in that the streetscape was dirty, footpaths damaged and unsafe and too many undesireable people just haning around."

"Hotel is in a convenient location for the Royal Prince Alfred Hospital. Restaurants and cafes on King St, Newtown are a 10–15-minute walk away. There are also dining options and a mini supermarket just up the road. Our room was spacious, quiet, clean and reasonably well-appointed with a writing desk, chair and sofa.
