"Such a bad check in. Took 15-20 minutes to get me into the room, which was terrible. Pictures on adverts did not represent the place. Shared bathroom with no toilet seat. Just such a bad experience. I prepaid for 2 nights and paid for another hotel second night so I didn’t have to stay. "

"This is a wonderful gem of a B and B. Everything was lovely from the moment we were greeted at the door by Carol and Keith who are the most welcoming hosts. Keith took our luggage to our room and Carol provided a welcome pot of tea with her homemade jam and cream scones, which were delicious. "The hotel is actually connected to the railway station which is excellent if travelling by train. We loved our stay. The heating was broken in our room. We were offered a different room but decided to accept the offer of a heater intead. Only one issue regards breakfast. There was no option for vegetarian sausages was part of the main buffet. Also there was only one egg option which was fried. To order scrambled eggs would have incurred a whole breakfast upgrade. A bit disappointing so may not choose to have breakfast at a future stay."
