"I don’t even know where to begin. We have been platinum Orbitz members for years and finally received a free upgrade and it was spectacular! The hotel upgraded us to a Nile view presidential suite. The room was like a time capsule but wonderful. It’s incredibly quiet despite the chaos from the city. The view is wonderful, the bed is wonderful and the staff is out of this world! The hospitality from all the employees was outstanding. The location is great with a short walk to the Nile shops and dining. There’s a market across the street to load up on essentials for very cheap. I would highly recommend a stay here! "

"Well, this is out of the way, for those who want or love the peace and quiet of country air and life. Transportation is available to any of the historic sites, or market, or grocery-store, or take-away food shops. Souvenirs are abundant at the Valley of the Kings area before entering the gate, but you will need to work hard to get really great bartered prices. Walk away, and the price will come down! From this hotel, you will have access to whatever you would like in the beautiful ancient city of Thebes/Luxor. We arrived by bus from Cairo for $9.00 each, which is a wonderful price in 2025! and the hotel is very inexpensive...we spent 10 days there and will definitely be back for a longer stay of peace and quiet and rest and watching Christian videos with our phone internet or their internet service. Our room was large, beautiful, and modern, and the owner was very hospitable and willing to do anything for us! One warning: there are semi-dangerous dogs around the region of Luxor, so use the Rick-shaws or taxis, or keep a pocket full of rocks to chase off and away the dogs, and never touch their puppies! "

"The Djorff is an amazing place, the building is a literal work of art. It over looks the Nile River and has amazing sunrise/sunsets. The crew that works there is fantastic and their attention to detail rivals any 5 star chain. Breakfast, which is included with your stay is amazing. It is served on a patio which is next to the pool. It really is a special place. I have stayed in hundreds of hotels, this place is closer to a resort feel than hotel. 10/10 would recommend it to anyone staying in Luxor."

"From the moment we arrived, to the moment we cheched our we were well taken care of. The staff works very hard to make sure everything is to your liking. In the morning you will awaken to hot air balloons lifting off nearby, with King Tut and his friends hidden in the mountains. Reasonable tours and food and more. The rooms a very nice as is the pool, but again it was the people that made it incredible."
