"Very lovely hotel, impressed with the communal spaces and amazed to even have a high quality gym room. The breakfast room is lovely and particularly nice experience being greeted and served by a very friendly team member. The only negative I would say, although the room is very nicely decorated the bathroom detailing could be improved …. Round the shower, floor tile grout etc needs refreshing. The heated towel rail was going rusty . "

"Stayed for a wedding and since it was on a Friday night it was double the price of the night before. Seems extreme! Village is very picturesque. My room was in a building separate to the pub which was possibly quieter. It’s all old so sound proofing isn’t a thing. My double bed was very comfortable but the room was quite small. Bathroom showing signs of age. Good selection for tea/coffee in room. A nice stay for the convenience but I don’t think it was worth £150. Breakfast was ok. Quite a lot...

"More shabby than chic, I nevertheless soon became quite enamoured of my humble little room on the first floor. These prices were often a third of the travelodge. Is Schmotel three times worse than travelodge? No it’s a different thing. I was therefore pleased that there were no ghosts or Frankensteins and no poo on the wall or ceiling, and nobody with loud and evil intent anywhere in the seven blessed rooms. "

"What a fabulous guesthouse. The quality of furnishings, cleanliness and amenities were first class. "Great location and it was perfect for an overnight stay for my mums birthday. The beds were very comfy. We were just a bit disappointed with the cleanliness of the room - it stunk of smoke. We opened the windows and I sprayed my perfume (not ideal) but we couldn’t get rid of it. Hopefully just a blip as I’d stayed here before and it wasn’t an issue."

"Return visit to Sea Vale as a lovely house you feel immediately at home in with everything you need. All you have to do is arrive and enjoy! Wine left to welcome us a much appreciated gesture and already thinking about planning our visit next year. Great location right on the beach with plenty to keep everyone happy by the beach and exploring the surrounding area. "
