"Service was excellent. Staff on reception was beyond helpful, food was astonishing having breakfast, afternoon tea and an evening meal in the hotel restaurant and all the food was the highest quality with fantastic hosts and waiting staff. Rooms were very clean and comfortable. Beautiful views from the room, the lounge, the restaurant and the outdoor seating areas overlooking the lake. Overall a breathtaking area with the hotel complimenting the area incredibly well. Spa treatments to top off the weekend away. Couldn’t recommend enough. "

"The property facilities and room were lovely. I particularly enjoyed the hot tub with the gorgeous view. My only criticism would be that the shower requires updating. It took along time to heat up and power was very poor. "

"Always love staying at the Belsfield. So many good walks from the hotel including Brant Fell and the Dalesway, fery across the lake and walk to Wray castle. Plenty of good places to eat and drink nearby, views from hotel are amazing and the staff are always so welcoming. "

"We stayed in one of the suites, Olive 1, for the night. The room is lovely and very clean. Very nice touch having a jacuzzi bath, steam room and sauna all in the room. Highly recommend staying here. We will be returning. "
