"Great location and cracking value. Lovely room with everything you needed. The only thing which was not 5 stars was the physical location of the breakfast hall and the quality of the food and service on offer. However this is really a minor issue for the price paid. The fact that the breakfast is served in the college 1 minute's walk away is stated on the website."

"Fabulous room, we had a suite in the old part of the hotel. There was a separate sitting room, large bedroom with superking four poster. The bathroom was beautiful and very well designed. The room was warm and comfortable. The hotel is situated in central Guildford and it is easy to walk to most venues in the town. The only downside is that the hotel has no parking and although you can park on the street in the evening there is no access during the day for unloading/loading luggage."

"This place was perfect! Five minutes walk to Paddington station, close to great restaurants and shopping, close to underground, just near Hyde Park, so inexpensive and free full breakfast?! What more could you hope for. Room was tiny but clean and had everything needed. Lots of hot water, white, and friendly check in. Highly recommended!"

"Clean and very convenient for Lancaster Gate tube and Paddington. Quiet area and very safe. "

"I stayed here 1 night and it was much better than I expected from the reviews. Very clean. Nice room with good bedding. Very quiet for sleeping. I arrived late and was worried about being able to park my car but they had put a cone in a space for me which was very thoughtful. It was £8 to park but well worth is especially as the room was extremely cheap. Nice area. "

"Lovely owners, fantastic breakfast. Couldn't get wifi on top floor and room next door was a tad chatty which you could hear but is to be expected in older buildings. Lovely safe area, easy walk from tube and owners were lovely and so helpful."

"Really lovely staff made the big difference, very happy to help you, efficient booking in and booking out. Love the restaurant in the evening overlooking the London skyline, food was excellent. Breakfast was a bit meh, and would recommend going to somewhere more tasty nearby. The room was just what you need, small but not cramped, perfect for just sleeping, the only addition I would suggest would be a bottle of water as it’s so warm.. Cannot say enough about the staff they were really nice. "

"The Marlin is very handy for the Westminster attractions, the hop on hop off bus tours and Thames cruises. The Waterloo and Lambeth North tube stations are nearby as are great pubs and restaurants. The rooms aren’t big but the bed was comfortable. I don’t understand why I was charged £60 for an early checkin when the room was ready - we’d just finished a 25 hour trip and I had two sick daughters. We checked out at 6am Our next stay was in Belfast - no early check in charge there! "
