"Waipu Cove is a wonderful area with a great restaurant. The apt is clean, probably new updated, but we did not feel very welcomed. Lots of written guidelines but probably this is necessary with guests on tight ground"

"This place was perfect for our stay - just a short drive to local restaurants, beaches and the golf course. It’s very very private even though close to the owners’ house. It’s compact but stylish with everything we needed. Comfortable bed, good hot water supply and the kitchen has everything for cooking but an oven. The little vege and herb garden was a nice touch and the outdoor bath tub was heavenly. We really enjoyed the views of Bream Bay and the countryside. Watching the local cattle moving...

"This property had me planning a second stay - this was a short one with two 18 year old uni students who had no trouble soaking up everything that's on offer here: from the back lawn you can kayak or paddle on a surfboard down the estuary to the ocean for a swim or a surf; fshing is another option. "This by far us an amazing little spot, absolutely stunning. Mark was such a lovely and welcoming host (even had some treats and breakfast items available) The cabin i think is quite romantic and with such short notice on trying to find accommodation that would allow pets i will definitely recommend the retreat. There is a small lake to use a paddleboard, dinghy and 2 kayaks (which are provided). We cannot wait to come back. Thanks again Mark ☻ "
