"We visited this cabin for our youngest’s 2nd birthday, and our first overnight trip as a family of four. It couldn’t have been more perfect for us. Our toddlers love watching Little House on the Prairie, and they really thought we were staying at “Laura and Mary’s” cabin. We were only about a 20 minute drive to the sledding hill at Beech mountain, and close to lots of dining options. "We arrived Saturday at check in time, we were so comfortable we did not leave until check out time on Tuesday. Temps outside were in the 1’s and a light snow. Wonderful place to stay and LOVE how it is decorated. Plan to go back when we can use the outside area. "

"Great place to stay. Exactly as described. The only things i can point out was the kitchen was a little sticky on the floor and cabinet drawer handles. The fact we have to take out our own trash it a little weird since we pay for cleaning. And we were in a truck and needed to back into the actual driveway bc the turn was very sharp.But over all i highly recommend. "

"Staying here was amazing! Came out for a guys trip and there are multiple great trails near by. The property is one of the only houses at the top of the moutain. The views are beatuiful. Highly recommend staying here. The only thing is we had 3 dead mice in the house so making sure the house is clean before the guests arive would be nice. Overall though i would come back and stay"

"Came up for a weekend of skiing on Beech mountain, great location to walk to the bottom of slopes and great house overall. Host was very helpful throughout the whole weekend! High recommend "
