"The house and property were amazing. My sons and I had a great time in this hidden gem. The house was amazing and cozy. The views of the mountains were fantastic. It snowed while we were there which just added to the beauty of the place. The hosts were amazing and kind. It is a great place that helped us get away from the busy life. This place is on my favorites and will definitely come back in the future. Thank you for the wonderful place."

"As soon as you pull in you are greeted by a beautiful willow tree. The property is just amazing, from the trout stream to the house. Oh my, the house, it is picturesque, it should be featured in a magazine. It is the cleanest vacation rental house we have stayed in. A big plus, just a short drive to Watauga lake. The host, Gary, is super friendly. We can’t wait to come back!"

"Enjoyed our stay secluded and close to lots of shops/restaurants. Would have liked the hot tub to be bigger and have jets on both sides. It was nice to have a washer dryer so I didn’t have to go home to wash a bunch of dirty laundry. Thanks for a great weekend."

"Great little cabin. We bought our dogs and stayed for a week and skied at Sugar mountain. Good location to skiing both sugar and beech. And close too Boone. River was great. Only a couple minor things: Hot tub cover is very hard to get back on taken completely off, and not as much privacy as we originally thought (road is right behind the house). Otherwise good stay!"

"The cabin was fabulous and the owner was receptive, prompt and extremely helpful! We prayed for snow and we were blessed with more than we wanted :-) Our rental couldn't make it up the mountain because it wasn't 4wd/awd. Even the neighbors were helpful! They stopped and offered assistance and another neighbor offered for us to warm up in their home. Overall, we couldn't be happier. Thank you!"
