"The Baer House was lovely and beautifully decorated in the Victorian style. The art collection was very impressive! I lived in Vicksburg 50 years ago and was sad to see how much the city had declined in care. "

"Friendly staff at check-in and breakfast. Nice breakfast buffet. Only issue, there seemed to be alot of car noise during the night. Not sure if it was other guests or the public street below the Best Western. "

"Beautiful and impressive mansion like staying inside a castle. I was impressed with all the antique furnitures. That was a treat for me. I was grateful for the talk after breakfast about the history of the place. Downside was that some staff services and the logistics could have been better. The hair conditioner bottle was indeed shampoo. My dietary preference at breakfast didn’t make it to the kitchen staff (or it was ignored/ forgotten). Staff Couldn’t find the key to my room upon check in. "
