"Stayed for 1 night whilst visiting Winchester. Only about 20 minutes away, so was ideal. Pub was lovely and cosy. Room was lovely, only thing that I would have loved to see was a hot hoc option in room as a non tea and coffee drinker it would have been a nice addition. Breakfast was lovely also."

"We have visited this property a couple of times before booking a long weekend stay. I can not speak highly enough of the staff and the food! The room was clean and comfortable, the tiniest issue I had (it’s really small!) is that the bathroom door could not be closed and the fridge in the room would cone on periodically (which for a light sleeper can be a bit of an issue). Absolutely amazing

"My wife and i stayed for 2 nights for our sons wedding. All i can say is that the staff were out of this world. We travelled a long way with a wedding cake in the car, and we had a disaster... it toppled. When we arrived late on the evening, the night shift could not have been more helpful. They gave us some bits to attempt to rebuild.... but we are no bakers. They put our cake in the fridge for us to attempt after some much needed sleep. In the morning, Antonio, the day shift manager, was as amazing as the night shift. He asked the chef for help or advice, and Sarah (the chef), went above and beyond by not only helping, but actually fixing the entire cake. Thanks to the amazing staff, a major disaster was averted. Thank you all for being so amaing. "
