"This hotel is in a good location. It's a short walk from the train station and about a 15 minute walk to the high street. The room was a good size. The only issue I had was the aircon was very noisy and sounded like it was breaking, so I turned it off when I went to bed. Dinner at the Alfred's was very good, as were the breakfast options. The blonde woman at the front desk was also very friendly and professional. I would stay here again and recommend it to others."

"Conveniently situated near a main road but unaffected by noise from it. Large comfortable rooms with a generous breakfast. Ample choices for evening meals at the restaurant and drinks from the bar. Friendly and accommodating staff ensured that the overall experience was top notch. "

"Great hotel literally yards from the high street but set on a really quiet road. Staff were all super helpful and it has a great bar and garden where you can sit and chill after a busy day sightseeing. Theres two carparks at this hotel which although you have to pay for, are superb and super convenient. Beds are big & comfy and i wouldn't hesitate in using this hotel again."

"Well worth the money as although hotel spa was small it was very quiet on the Friday, so facilities were available and not packed. Hotel staff were all very friendly and professional. A really lovely find and very easy to get into Winchester."
