"The property was great. The cabin had everything that you could want.Colby lake was great for fishing. The only problem was the property was too close to RT 86. It certainly was not a quiet location. The light from the electric company on Rt 86 came on at 6:30 and were on all night."

"Overall, we had a nice stay at this property. The house was just as pictured. It had a nice view from the living and dining room. The kids loved the game room. The owner responded to our message quickly when we had a small issue. The Cabin was only 20 minutes from Marcy Field, and it was easy for our hikers to catch the shuttle to Big Slide or other trails. The Forty Six restaurant is not far either and has some great food. It is not too far from Lake Placid or Whiteface either. "

"We had a challenge finding it in a snow storm because google maps was not accurate and there was no sign. But is was definitely worth finding!! The house is beautiful. Cozy but spacious. Location and views amazing. The only thing that was a bit annoying is the trash limitations. Just wish we had known this before hand so we could come prepared.
