"It's the cutest cabin at a very nice location. Right next to whiteface mountain and riddled with so many hiking trails. After you check in and you enter the cabin the hosts have this folder filled with so many recommendations on restaurants and trails and attractions which I have used throughout my entire stay. My favorite restaurant was smoked signals. If you love BBQ food definitely need to check them out during your stay. The hosts have two cabins to rent from and the old crow cabin was...

"Overall, we had a nice stay at this property. The house was just as pictured. It had a nice view from the living and dining room. The kids loved the game room. The owner responded to our message quickly when we had a small issue. The Cabin was only 20 minutes from Marcy Field, and it was easy for our hikers to catch the shuttle to Big Slide or other trails. The Forty Six restaurant is not far either and has some great food. It is not too far from Lake Placid or Whiteface either. "

Second, the cabin was absolutely gorgeous and right on the water as advertised. Lastly, the location is just perfect. "My wife, friends, and pups loved our stay at this mountain getaway. It's in a great section of Jay, NY, and sits smack-center of a large property so you feel hidden away from the neighbors while still having access to the local amenities (walking trails, pavilion, etc). The home has a great layout, and NO spiral staircase like many of these A-frame designs (which our pups appreciated). The hot tub was great for 4 people, and the firepit (and backyard in general) was awesome for stargazing...

The cabin is so beautiful, comfortable, spacious and has everything we needed for an enjoyable week in "our mountains." The kitchen is well-supplied with even a few spices in the cabinets.
