"We loved the cozy cottage! It IS cozy but also more spacious than it seems in the photos. It was very comfortable for our family of 4 and we appreciated the welcoming gestures such as spices to cook with, coffee, DVDs, extra towels and blankets. The kitcheware is all top quality and the gas fireplace kept us cozy. It's in a quiet, wooded area about a 15 minute drive to Whiteface mountain and 30 minutes to Lake Placid. We would gladly stay here again!"

"We had a wonderful stay at Skylight. While it was snowing pretty steadily when we arrived, the walkway was shoveled and we had immediate contact from Jason to help us park in the right place since the snowbanks hid all the signs! The cabin was perfect for us and our two boys, ages 4 and 7. We all cuddled in the loft for a movie on the “magic tv” Saturday night after watching the Winter Carnival fireworks from the dock (it was too cold to haul the boys into town). "The house is perfect for 10-12 people and has a lot of space for everyone to hangout. Location is great, it is a quiet area and about 15-20 minutes from whiteface mountain for those who love to ski and snowboard. If you need a place for a few friends or family, I 100% recommend this place!!!"

"Very cozy cabin. Bathroom perhaps a bit TOO cozy. Which means it was lovely, but very small. Many stubbed toes on the shower lip, but I concede that not much could be done about that. There were a few cobwebs in the rafters, some sawdust on the top of the bathroom mirror, but overall lovely. "

"We came to Saranac Lake to check out the Adirondacks. It is a beautiful area. The Cabin is great for kicking back and soaking in the surroundings. We brought a boat with fishing in mind. Not such a good idea. Oh! the cabin advertisement indicated that it was "Blue" . Well, that's only half true. Like I said, we brought a boat so we could leave from the Cabin and fish. But, if one arrives at the cabin by water, it is brown, not blue. It rains on us for 3 days, but we still hadfun."

"We've vacationed for years in the ADKs and have rented many places for our stays as a result. The Cabin at Peace Ridge is by far the best we've ever enjoyed. "We had a great stay in early March. Access to Lake Placid is quick and easy, but most essentials (food, fuel, etc) are right nearby. The cottage had everything we needed in terms of space and accessories. Rustic overall, but the bathroom is fresh and modern. The gas fireplace keeps the living room warm and inviting.
