"We came to Saranac Lake to check out the Adirondacks. It is a beautiful area. The Cabin is great for kicking back and soaking in the surroundings. We brought a boat with fishing in mind. Not such a good idea. Oh! the cabin advertisement indicated that it was "Blue" . Well, that's only half true. Like I said, we brought a boat so we could leave from the Cabin and fish. But, if one arrives at the cabin by water, it is brown, not blue. It rains on us for 3 days, but we still hadfun."

"We really enjoyed our week at Camp Pinecone. The location is ideal for enjoying the Adirondacks - Tupper Lake, Saranac lake, and Lake Placid are all fairly close. Fish Creek Pond offers a quiet setting with access to other remote Ponds via Canoe or Kayak as well as Upper Saranac Lake (via the narrow channel) with a larger boat. "The house was a little smaller than I expected but easily accommodated all 8 of us. Everything we needed was there and house rules/instructions were clear. I gave 4 stars because the shower handle in the master broke the second day. The owner clearly stated that it was difficult and I guess it finally broke. We managed with all of us just more shower planning. All in all it was a nice place to stay. "

"This was the perfect cabin. It met all our needs, fishing, relaxation, and space for our dogs. Very private and the view of the river every morning made it the best place to disconnect. This will be our go to cabin in the future. "
