"A really good stay at fish on the quay. Staff were lovely, would like to mention especially jack (barman) and Kieran (assistant manager as they were happy, and always spoke to us, to be honest all staff were friendly.The room was very nice, we were lucky as we had the bathroom in our room, but other rooms don’t. "Needed a stay over for a friends birthday party, was recommended the Queen Philippa, I can understand why, it ticked all the boxes along with such friendly, helpful staff. Only slight negative which didn’t affect me was the small parking area, but to counter that they do have electric hook up which I didn’t need, but worth pointing out. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend them and if the need arises would stay there again. "

"This veue showed rooms which did not resemble the one my wife and I had. The toilet bowl was manky, the shower hose leaked almost as much water as came out of the shower head. "The room we ha, had a very strong smell of weed, it was a tiny box room you couldnt stand up striaght in due to the slanted attic ceiling, towels were discoloured and dirty glasses left out. We attempted to contact someone to see if our room could be swapped due to the smell but heard nothing back. The bathroom was dirty and both of decided to not shower in the morning due to this. Very dissapointed with our stay."
