"We had a nice stay in Peniscola a this hotel. A few things. This hotel is in the restricted peninsula where you cannot reach by car. You’ll need to pay park outside of the area carry your bags up many cobblestone roads and stairs. It’s a haul. The rooms are basic, clean and functional. You do get a fair amount of noise from the street and the bar/restaurant downstairs. Also, be aware that the bell tower is very close, very active, and very loud. The owner was very nice and very helpful. "

"This place can hardly be called a hotel, it’s more of a hostel with individual rooms but shared bathrooms. The room was quite dirty with dust and hair on the floor. The condition of the bathrooms was similar (see photos). "

"The room was spacious and light. The bed was very comfortable. The location was great - close to the main attractions and bus stops, park etc. I was a little worried when I arrived as it was down a small side road, but in the evening it was very well lit and felt safe. The keycode locks were great as there was no need to carry a key and codes were emailed on the day of check in for a trouble free arrival. (Reception is only manned between 10-2.)
