"The hotel is unique in decor. It is older, but very clean and antique decor. I loved it. We were pleasantly surprised to get a larger room. Very close to Central Park and Museum across the street. Also subway is close. We walked to the theatre district for a play. I was so happy to find that cleaning staff found my wallet. I had left it in the safe and staff had given it to the office. "Good location and decent hotel, but they need to upgrade elevators (only one small elevator working and it sounded like it could break at any time) and there was no soap in the bathroom (they told me to use the bath gel attached to the wall in the shower but that doesn't really work for the sink and hand-washing is important!)"

"It's a beautiful property, the lobby is chic and stylish with the bar area. I've stayed here a few times and every time the staff goes all out to ensure a good stay. Great location in a nice neighborhood and close to the Beacon Theater where we were going. Will be back sooner than later!"
