"The property & room were beautiful the problem was location. There are different locations for this hotel, but this one wasn't near anything within walking distance. Everything is a far- I would definitely stay again at this property just not this location. Very clean, & accomodating staff"

"Walking to Gion area and to Kyomizu-dera with amazing view to Kyoto and walk along small beautiful traditional shops. The room size is great for the three of us. Sauna and oxygen bath in the room are great addition. Also, free laundry is a big plus. Hotel is modern with the touch of Japanese ryokan style. The food in the restaurant is vegan. We really enjoy our stay."

"I had never seen a hotel with all 10/10 reviews before, so we stayed there to see for ourselves. It's no lie, the place was wonderful. The staff really make it special - they are lovely, friendly, helpful, engaging. We stayed there for a long stretch, and it was our favorite hotel in Japan by far. We were a family of four and opted to book two rooms. We were very comfortable, enjoyed the breakfasts and free drinks in the afternoon. We were able to do laundry in our rooms, too. We weren't sure...

"Feel like my home, 6 minutes walk to Kyoto Station, 1 minute walk to mall and supermarket. Very clean, staffing is super friendly, room has everything we need for traveling with three small kids. We enjoyed so much at this place. For my next Kyoto trip, I will pick this hotel again."

"The property itself is excellent. Clean, you have a kitchen and laundry right in your room and the cost was very attractive. The main gripe is that we had forwarded our luggage from Hakuba and I was first informed that reception was not attended to for 2 hours, then I was informed it was 3 and when we got there, it was 4. I was worried that nobody would be there to receive our luggage. Our luggage did arrive and was locked in the reception are but we were not informed, hence we went 3 days...
