"We stayed here for two nights in February. The convenience of the location can’t really be beat, as it’s right next to Ueno Station. Here’s some pros and cons: Pros: • Super convenient • Great staff • Nice sized room (for a business hotel) • Basement restaurant breakfast was excellent. • Clean hotel • Our room had two beds, with enough space for our luggage. "Overall, not a bad experience. A good deal for how affordable it was. It’s dated, but clean. There is a smoky smell, as others have mentioned, but not terrible, unless you’re particularly sensitive. I had to leave early due to a storm, so didn’t actually sleep here, but accommodations looked fine. Pretty spacious for a typical capsule style. It was definitely warm, though. "
