"There are many of tourist groups with guide and quite noisy at the lobby in the morning. I paid for bf but couldn’t get the proper table and seat because of group tour reservations. Even they didn’t come down and empty table. We have to sit wiggly table and squeeze each other. However the family room was really fun and nice"

"We absolutely loved staying at Hop Inn. It was so cozy and quaint, the staff were so friendly and kind, and I loved all the amenities down in the lobby. It was also super close to train stations and super convenient but also nice and quiet. Would definitely stay again!"

"Good cheap spot to get to tourist attractions and public tranpsort. Very small room, notbsuitable for everyone. If restricted mobility do not stay. Only 1 lift for 14 floors. Great view from 14th floor. Breakfast options limited ofr vegetarians or vegans so wouldn't choose breakfast ifbyou have restricted diet. Onsen nice. Pillows awful but luckily they have an array of other pillow options at frint desk area but be quick. Helpful staff storing luggae and arranging to delivery onwards to next...

"Overall pretty good experience. The blinds was letting in light when the sun rises even though it's closed. There's little areas where the light goes through. No room cleaning for consecutive night stay. Also self service to get new towels and amenities and you'll have to throw away trash daily. About 5-8 mins walk to Ueno station which is convenient. There's also 7-11 and Family mart nearby. Staff are friendly and polite. Easy check-in and check-out. "

"Overall, not a bad experience. A good deal for how affordable it was. It’s dated, but clean. There is a smoky smell, as others have mentioned, but not terrible, unless you’re particularly sensitive. I had to leave early due to a storm, so didn’t actually sleep here, but accommodations looked fine. Pretty spacious for a typical capsule style. It was definitely warm, though. "
