"Would be 5 stars if the beds and pillows were a little nicer (not bad, just could be better) and if the golf cart that is in the garage were able to be used by the guests. Those are the only 2 little, nit-picky things I can think of. Overall, fantastic place to stay, awesome views, killer kitchen and area to hang out with plenty of seating. "Previous reviews were very helpful. Overall this was a great place to stay, close to town, great location. The washing machine didn't work, neither did the cable. The sliding closet door in the downstairs bedroom is broken and could be dangerous for young kids. Super cute spot but could use a little TLC/deep clean, and also not perfect for very tall people. We had a great time though, it was perfect for my 82 year old mom and my 18 year old son...location was a big sell."

"Just far enough from town to not be noisy, but close enough to walk. The deluxe golf cart was a help for those who didn't want to climb the hill, and we were also able to explore much more in it. The hot tub had so many jets and good privacy. We appreciated the ramp to enter and the carefully laid out floorpan that accommodated our group of 6 adults. "Lovely stay with well appointed amenities.We decorated the palm tree for Christmas and placed it near the fireplace with its ample supply of fire wood. The Scott family answered all questions quickly. Easy walk to town. With two older people the funicular was welcome and necessary. The family used the golf cart a few times to leave town for a site visit."

"The location of the property is amazing. The views were great. I did feel I overpaid for the stay as the house was outdated and it had a old smell like the carpet hasn't been washed in a long time. The TVs in the house were ridiculous and don't function at all. The plumbing should be updated as well as the sink in the master bedroom did not work. Overall the location was amazing but that is all you are paying for. The house needs to be updated and cleaned properly."
