"Wonderful stay over Valentine's Day weekend. The rooms appear to be newly remodeled/furnished. Well equipped and quiet. Compared to other hotels we have stayed in on Catalina Island, the rooms at Hotel Metropole we nearly twice as big.Highly recommend"

"We were actually upgraded to the Sand Castle Cottage next door since renovations were occurring at the Sea Crest Inn itself. It was a charming, eclectic & pleasant throwback to the beach cottage days of yore & we really enjoyed the stay. Amber gave us some island history at checkin & Michael let us stay a bit later than normal checkout time to wait for our Cat Express out of the rain. Literally a block from all the shops, & 2 blocks from the ferry & local Vons grocery store, so super convenient. The street gets a bit loud & busy during the day, but quiets down past about 8:30pm. Definitely enjoyed our stay & would happily stay again!"

"There were so many hotels on the island to choose from but what did it for me was the roof top view. Simply amazing especially during a sunrise. Melissa at the front desk was so gracious, helpful and so friendly. Only down fall to the hotel was the walls are very thin. I would definitely recommend this hotel when coming to Catalina. "
