"This is a beautiful property. It is quite sprawling and requires a lot of walking or riding on the electric carts—not a problem for us. The restaurants get quite busy and may require a reservation well in advance. Also it is really popular with families with small children so be forewarned if you are not ready to be around a LOT of kids. The staff were uniformly helpful and courteous (in fact this seemed to be true everywhere in Puerto Rico). The only disappointment for us was the beach area...

"La Concha had everything we needed- beach right in front with chairs and umbrellas, bars and bathrooms. You also had the restaurant for food. The pools were all very nice and staff was amazing. The bars were all very nice and the daily mixology class was fun. The location made it great to walk to restaurants and bars all around us. The casino was also fun. I would definitely recommend this property "

"The resort and the unit are 2 totally different experiences. The resort itself was lovely- lots of pools and on a small beach (pools needed to be maintained better and the "waterpark" part of it is only open on the weekends) but the resort was kept tidy and pleasant. Our unit, however, was clean but VERY disappointing. It was not maintained well and many things were broken (the lock on the sliding doors, locks on the windows, THE TV!!!) "My wife and I took our kids (5 and 2.5) along with my parents to stay on the Bahtia resort property and loved every minute of it. The in subdivision pool was great for an evening swim and during the day we had easy access (via golf cart) to both the beach club pool and bar area as well as the st Regis hotel pool and bar area. "My room was very clean and the fact it was on the beach was a huge perk! My room did not have hot water. I advised the front desk. They said they would take care of it but when I went back after a day at the beach, the water was still cold. The hallways are dark and creepy.
