"Excellent location both for the many transport links and the stroll into town. The room was on the second floor so not convenient if mobility issues. .It was compact with low ceilings but comfortable, especially the bed. Poor plumbing. Unusual housekeeping for me as the bed was never made up nor the bath cleaned during my stay. Dinner in the restaurant was disappointing. Chicken supreme dish, the potatoes were nice, the meat was well cooked unfortunately the roasted carrots tasted rancid so...

"Idyllic setting! Very good food. Friendly staff. I had a budget room which was about adequate. TV was so small it couldn’t be watched from bed. There was a motor running intermittently during the night and that was more disturbing because of the otherwise rural silence perhaps with the chuckle of the tributary of the Dart outside my window. "

"Had a lovely stay, just a short walk down to the millpond and centre of the village. Fantastic property very nicely decorated and clever use of space and with a hot tub too, excellent. "

"Great location - really clear instructions for parking etc.Owners very helpful and communicative.Lovely little square opposite property (for sitting out) and great pub/eatery (The Bull). A bit complicated on leaving to juggle stripping beds, topping up electricity card (in town) and sorting a complicated Totnes recycling system! Parking a short walk and added expense. All just worth noting so can be factored in.Overall great house and great location."
