"It was a lovely, clean house with everything one could need. The owner was always quick to respond to any questions I had. Outside of the city, so you will definitely need a car. But Caldas da Rainha and Óbidos are a conveniently nearby. It also has a spacious, well fenced yard that kept my escape artist dog safe. I highly recommend it."

"I would highly recommend this place. However, if you are traveling in the winter, you should know that there is no central heating and there are only two portable electric radiators to warm the apartment. So, it got pretty cold. There is also know laundry machine, so if you are traveling with kids for a longer stay, that can be problematic. Other than those two things, the place is perfect. So if those are not an issue, then you should 100% try and book this property. "

"The perfect location to relax while visiting many sites in the area. Quinta Mota II was clean, comfortable, quiet, had everything we needed, and the backyard and salt pool was incredible. From this location it is a short drive to the beach and many sites, we visited Obidos, Alcobaca, Batalha, and several beaches. And then returned for swim and a peaceful quiet nights sleep. "We booked this because I wanted to be near the sea = we were actually high up on a rocky promontory but that was fine, view was great and we were not in the midst of loads of people. One issue is parking - we had no trouble but I can see during busy times that there may be. But there seems to be enough, just need to be creative. The house was clean and has everything - no AC but with the sea air, probably no need,. It does take time to get used to the European way of heating water for showers...
