"Had a really nice stay at this villa. It’s tucked away in a small town about 20 minutes outside of Sintra and offers a lot of privacy. The view of the ocean is stunning and the hosts are very responsive. Some wine and snacks were there already upon our arrival which was much appreciated after a long flight.The electricity in the house limits all of the heaters running at once but you can swap between the bedrooms and the common areas as needed. It worked for us, even with a 6 month old who...

"I would highly recommend this place. However, if you are traveling in the winter, you should know that there is no central heating and there are only two portable electric radiators to warm the apartment. So, it got pretty cold. There is also know laundry machine, so if you are traveling with kids for a longer stay, that can be problematic. Other than those two things, the place is perfect. So if those are not an issue, then you should 100% try and book this property. "

"We had a wonderful 2 day stay at the Mill House near Santa Cruz. Carla and her family were incredibly welcoming, generous and warm people. Right after check in we got a tour of the farm that is part of the property and her husband gave us samples of some things they grow there. Carla, her husband and daughter were extremely helpful and responsive to any little issues that came up.
