"Our host Karolina was very pleasant and friendly. The cottage was adorable. The location was between towns, Burgaus and Luz. We easily walked to one and could have taken a longer walk to the other. Beaches nearby were lovely and the cliffs spectacular."

"The pool was closed and has been for some time as they are rebuilding it. This was not advertised when booking nor was it communicated to us afterwards. Bike hire and meals also need to be arranged the day before , again this wasn't communicated to us when booking or when speaking to the reception on the phone prior to arriving. It's a lovely village but I think it's not ok to advertise facilities that aren't available as this was a big reason why we chose it. I would definitely go again though...

"We have stayed several times in Lagos but this was the perfect place for us. The property is just outside Lagos but beaches town and supermarkets are all about aten minute drive away. The setting is very peaceful and quiet so ideal for relaxing outside and looking out at the wonderful views. If you are feeling active you can quickly access the coastal path and walk to the beach. Simon and Ana Maria are wonderful hosts and ensure you have all you need. We look forward to our next stay there...

"The hot tub which we were looking forward to using, was indoors in the bathroom and when we arrived we were told that it wasn't working. A big disappointment which spoilt the holiday. When we saw the advert there was a TV but actually there wasn't one there (also disappointing) and we think it has now been removed from the description. The parking space is unlit so in the dark we had to leave the car headlights on to see where we were going until we could put the house lights on. The steps up...

"The Chef here greeted us on arrival and was always around to recommend dishes and cook to your liking. The staff were attentive and friendly. The grounds have a peaceful feeling with fruit groves. Thanks you for making my 50th special and this will always be in my fondest memories. Hopefully, I'll be back someday xx"

"This is our second visit to this villa, Maria who takes care of the property on behalf of the owner is on hand and nothing is too much trouble. It’s in walking distance to Intermarche for groceries, 2 minutes to a restaurant and 10 minutes to a cafe. Patricia is quick to answer any questions, we messaged asking for coasters and an outside ashtray which we found left outside the door within a few hours. The only suggestion I would make is a a basic welcome basket for late night arrivals would be...
