"The hotel is in a complex of various brands - Ibis, Mercure and another. The pools are beautiful. I liked the adults only pool as well. The rooms were clean - but I couldn’t turn off the overhead fan - which wasn’t too bad as it was hot. But the room door was full of mould. I appreciate with the weather up there it’s very hard to stop this. It reminds me of a Fijian Resort. Right beside the airport - easy to walk - literally on the other side of the car park. "We had a great stay at the Butterfly Farm! Chris the owner was a delight, food at the restaurant was delishious and fresh, and it was close to all the attractions around Litchfield. The property looks a bit dated, but it was still clean and comfortable. "

"Pool was a great asset, though good to know guests can use Mecure pool when Novotel gets noisy and busy. Events are often held there. But a great location close to the airport for early flights. Bit of a hike into town, and no shops within walking distance."
