"Great stay in a lovely house. Large, spacious, comfortable and very well equipped. Feels like a cared-for home. Plenty of different living spaces (inside and outside). Large and very well equipped kitchen. Comfortable beds. Glorious views from the house and colourful garden (in summer). Lots of walks from the back door or a short drive away. Good local shop and pub. Very responsive host. Nice welcome pack. Would love to go back."

"We had an amazing time, perfect place for a hen of 20 ladies and such a great location. The hot tubs and games room made it. Communication with host was amazing. However could do with a few more tea towels or oven gloves and couldn't find the mop head. Overall would definitely recommend staying here. "

"Beautiful kitchen with woodburner, great for when dogs got wet. Amazing lounge with panoramic views over the valley, also with woodburner. Two beautiful bedrooms with large comfy beds. The Retreat is really lovely, even better than photographs!"

"Fantastic stay, the house was perfect and stunning scenery right on the doorstep (albeit the fog tried to ruin it). Our first Christmas at a neutral location, took some planning but it worked out very well, the kitchen was great with all the equipment you could need. Loved the Aga too. Heartily recommend this place to anyone"
