"We stayed here as a couple but also as part of a larger family group, including my niece and nephew (12 and 8 respectively). Our room was the Illingworth room. It was huge, facing out across the road to the lovely old church. Road noise was minimal and the bed extremely comfy with good pillows which were not too soft, perfect for us. We slept well. "A fabulous little gem. The bar man even fixed my broken heel! Now that's going above and beyond. The lovely ladies even made My dog his own sausage for breakfast. Beds were comfy. My only issue would be it's a little bit cold in places but it's a old building whose owners (not staff) need to give it a bit of TLC "

"The hotel staff are very welcoming and lovely at 4:30 check in and also served a beer after the carvery closed. If you can not do stairs, this is not for you. The room was clean and the bed was reasonably comfortable. The tub chairs in the room were comfy enough but no coffee table or end table to place the coffee/tea cups on. Overall it was very good value for money. "

"Amazing. Right from the start the staff were friendly, polite and welcoming. Food was delicious - we ate at the hotel for dinner - having the 'pigs' in blanket sharing starter and then both steak pies. Next morning - breakfast was great - although there was no 'bacon' for us - the server compensated by offering us additional sausages - so it wasn't too much of a disappointment. "

"We took a spontaneous trip to Malham Cove for a night away. This lovely hotel is down a quiet country road 1/2 a mile from the cove and near to several other pubs and cafes. The building is very old and reached over an old stone bridge or the beck (stream) Parking is available and the room was nicely furnished with views of the water and a very comfy bed. The hotel and attached restaurant is completely plant based. I somehow missed this fact when booking but I needn’t have worried. The dinner...
