"This place beyond extended my expectations, and not just for the atmosphere but the staff. They went above and beyond to make our (partner and myself) stay enjoyable. They were very accommodating and hardworking. The property was well kept and the pool was clean day/night. 10/10 The food was good on most days, they had a Jamaican day which was my favorite as I enjoy that type of food the most. If you Visit then one of the best Buffy restaurants was Nyam; Chef Kevauhn Crooks made our experience even better by personally making a dish of spicy butter shrimp each night we visited. Just ask him to make you some and you won’t be disappointed. 10/10 We were a VIP guest which we had access to both the luxury and grand side of this resort. I must say I enjoyed the grand side the most for food, entertainment and hospitality. In my experience the luxury side catered to tourists more and I am one as this was my 1st time in Jamaica but my partner is not a tourist. Our room was beautiful and well stocked everyday. If you plan to travel off property then you should expect to be about 1 hr away from Ocho Rios and with traffic it could take 2 hours. Thank you Bahia for this beautiful experience you provided. "

"Hibiscus Lodge is magical! I've been twice and plan to return as many times as i can. It's definitely not a 5 star hotel, but i love it. The gardens and the landing where you can walk out into the sea are my two favorite spots. The restaurant serves excellent food, and breakfast is included. The area around the hotel is a little seedy by American standards, but i felt safe there, even traveling by myself. The bartenders, Dion, Danvil, and Jatavia, were wonderful and took very good care of me. And Telma, my housekeeper, always had a smile on her face and left my room spotless. The hotel is on a cliff overlooking the sea with incredible views, and there are uneven stone steps everywhere, which to me add to the charm of the place, but may not be good if you have mobility issues. Still, Hibiscus Lodge is a gem!"

"Two words…truly exceptional! This was THE perfect vacation. All inclusive…amazing food and drinks, gorgeous resort, breathtaking views and wonderful people. This was like home away from home. My husband spoiled me with booking the Tufa Terrace Suite and it was worth every penny. Our butlers, Akeem and Fernando, went above and beyond. Sandal’s is the place to stay!! "
