"The place was reasonably priced and quiet and what you might expect for a 3* hotel. The maintenance and general upkeep outside was lower than it could be. The room was nice but again what you might expect for a lower priced 3* hotel in Venice. The breakfast was fine. If you paid at check-in, the breakfast was only $7 and cheaper than paying the day of. "Island Sun Inn may not be a boutique hotel, and it's certainly not 5-star. But the property and rooms are clean, the pool is heated, the shower was great. Most of all, the staff - ALL OF THEM - are helpful and kind and just wonderful. It's close to beaches and close to shopping. I would stay here again!!"

"Nice hotel. Quick check-in/out. Decent breakfast. Only problem for me was that I forgot that BW has platform beds. I am handicapped and can't walk or stand. I rely on a hoyer lift to transfer from wheelchair to bed. With the platform bed, the hoyer lift will not go under the bed so I can transfer. I managed to get transferred to the couch to sleep. Not ideal but ok for a one night stay."
