"The hotel is beautiful. Great look with old world charm but updated amenities. They refurbished the antique floors but they are very noisy and you can hear other guests walking around in other rooms. The biggest issue for me was the road noise. We had a room on the 3rd floor but the road noise was excessive . I’d recommend asking for a room in the back of the hotel unless they are able to soundproof the windows better. "

"It was good for what it is - to sleep. Immediately upon walk-in, the floor is ripped up, painters tape and plastic all throughout the lobby area. Supposedly the renovations are supposed to be completed by May. I’m sure the place will look beautiful in May, but it was an eyesore walking into the construction site after booking with no notice that there would be a renovation. It felt like a downer. The room was fine, but the bathroom was nicely renovated so it’s as if they are renovating in...

"This is a gem in the Berkshires! It is quaint yet cool. We stayed in winter, so nearby attractions were limited for non-skiers but I'd go again for the heated pool, pub, great rooms and wonderful staff!"
