"Excellent hotel located a few minutes walk from the historic castle. Rooms were immaculate and spacious. Staff very friendly and helpful. Breakfast options were also excellent. A very minor issue personal to us was that the cups in the rooms were disposable. Tea is always better in a real cup. We would definitely stay here again."

"Only one night in Carcassonne and the old city was a bit of a disappointment, thankfully the hotel was lovely - small, family run, and parking was a bit of a faff - but enchanting. Apart from yet another sliding glass door 'covering' the loo, and annoyingly loud music all evening in the bar/restaurant/garden, it was a nice space to spend time. Food options were limited but nice, staff deserve special mention - top notch! Spaniel is your best friend if you have food, cat takes further convincing- would be amazing in summer I think."

"We love how close it was to the fortified city. It was so easy just to walk across the street to the gate. Rooms were clean (wallpaper a little outdated but no biggie). We tried the spa as well and enjoyed it. Front desk very helpful"
