"This was a lovely stay. The owners were very welcoming and happy to give ideas of what to do etc. the room was spacious and well decorated. Swimming pool is always welcome and the outdoor area was a lovely space for breakfast. Only issue for me was the parking as space is limited and my hire car was not easy to manoeuvre! Sete is a busy town in the Summer but with 12 Kim’s of beach it was easy to find a quiet area"

" Very nice place managed with care . Host was very responsive, rooms are beautiful, place was very clean , good bed , good shower . The location is perfect as it is close enough to everything but yet quiet.Only 1 little minus :It would have been nice to have an elevator to drag the luggage 2 floors up. Most of staff were very helpful and it was helpful that some spoke English, although we didn't expect that as we were in France and, out of curtesy, we believed that we should attempt speaking French. BEDBUGS BEDBUGS and hotel was aware

"BEDBUGS!!!! Hotel was very aware of this bedbug issue, yet guest are welcome. I stayed in Italy at BnB, which was fabulous, so this was our second try, now we know , never again! Front desk girl kind of interrogated us in so many words: if we traveled by train… We travel by my own car!!! Stayed in great, clean hotels!!! "

"Very pleasant 2-night stay at Hotel Splendid, with courteous, helpful staff, and a lovely view from the balcony. Convenient to the shops, restos, and convenience store. For those not familiar with the area and arriving by car, I recommend the hotel parking a couple blocks away. "

"Perfect location. Right on the beach, very easy walking distance to the old Notre Dame church (don’t miss climbing up the tower), plenty of restaurants nearby and excellent access to the Carmargue nature areas. Slightly older hotel, but very comfortable, clean, safe, and delicious breakfast!!! "

"We stayed at the Hotel Port-Marine with extended family, 6 of us. The hotel exceeded our expectations: perfect location on the port of Sète, close to a plethora of restaurant and shopping, its own parking space (which would have been a nightmare without, especially during the heart of the French summer vacations), a short walk from a deep in the Mediterranean. Staff is very friendly, helpful, and professional. Rooms are clean, functional, and all you need for a vacation stay / resort town. Breakfast buffet is copious and varied, in a large room with a fantastic view of the Mediterranean sea. Will return for sure. "
