"Amazingly idyllic estate for a peaceful retreat from the city. The room was spacious and bright. Unlike most French hotels, this place has a screen on the window, which we appreciated very much. Breakfast on the patio was absolutely enjoyable. There’s a pool that’s perfect for the hot days. Two supermarkets are in walking distance. We had a great time and highly recommend the place! "

"The owners were more than hospitable. Marie-Laurence treated me as if we'd been best friends. She was warm and charming. Fransico was also pleasant, went around his duties quietly but always with a smile. This couple has created an oasis out of a horse ranch. Some rooms, the pony stalls, therefore are small. Breakfast, not included, beautifully served on my front porch. "

"Perfect location. Right on the beach, very easy walking distance to the old Notre Dame church (don’t miss climbing up the tower), plenty of restaurants nearby and excellent access to the Carmargue nature areas. Slightly older hotel, but very comfortable, clean, safe, and delicious breakfast!!! "

"Room was nice, property good with nice facilities. However a hotel of this size should have a bar. Also it might be worth mentioning its quite uncomfortable walking into a quiet hotel with a big reception desk with 2 members of staff who just stare at you as you walk to the lift without even smiling. "Very pleasant 2-night stay at Hotel Splendid, with courteous, helpful staff, and a lovely view from the balcony. Convenient to the shops, restos, and convenience store. For those not familiar with the area and arriving by car, I recommend the hotel parking a couple blocks away. "

"We stayed at the Hotel Port-Marine with extended family, 6 of us. The hotel exceeded our expectations: perfect location on the port of Sète, close to a plethora of restaurant and shopping, its own parking space (which would have been a nightmare without, especially during the heart of the French summer vacations), a short walk from a deep in the Mediterranean. Staff is very friendly, helpful, and professional. Rooms are clean, functional, and all you need for a vacation stay / resort town. Breakfast buffet is copious and varied, in a large room with a fantastic view of the Mediterranean sea. Will return for sure. "
