"The property is just outside of town. Would recommend a car to get around. It is a bit tricky to find after dark. The manager sent us detailed instructions to help and met us at the property to check in. Lots of monkeys to watch just outside on our decks. The furniture in the living room is a bit hard for sitting, but a great place to stay if you are looking for nature. Highly recommend."

"This is a simple and beautiful place where we enjoyed spending a lot of our time at the property. "My wife and I spent a wonderful week here exploring Monteverde and its environs. The well appointed property is situated on a coffee plantation about 20 minutes drive from Santa Elena which has plenty of grocery stores and places to eat. It is about 30 minutes from the various rainforest reserves. Combined with the birding on the coffee plantation this makes it an ideal location for birders...or you can relax and bird from the patio. "My family and I spent one night in this amazing property and loved every minute of it. The home was so unique with the whole place, including the furniture being built by the family's grandfather.
