"The place was dirty and there was so many bugs and creatures everywhere! Spiders, cockroaches and ants crawling all around the place. I was in bed and a spider ran across the covers! We were told to spray bug spray around to prevent this, but also couldn’t open the windows as it would let more creatures in! So we were coughing the entire time because of the spray and couldn’t sleep. We left the property two days early and only stayed one night "

"Wonderful cosy cottage deep in Monteverde. The drive from St Elena is worth it! There are lots of bugs at night but it is manageable. So many birds! So serene! Comfy beds. Yummy welcome food.
