"It was a nice place to stay as we had to visit French consulate nearby so very handy. Also opposite Gloucester Road tube station and Waitrose opposite side of road. Could leave our luggage there for the day which was really helpful. Decor theme was London Underground so had quirky carpet, fixings, pictures etc. Was in room 301 which was quiet and near to the lift."

It’s very clean , the beds are comfortable, the staff are very friendly, the location is brilliant. Very near Marble Arch tube station. Great for a short stay in central London. However. there is no lift or dining room and there is a chance that there’s a few flights of stairs to your room. There is quiet pubs, cafes and restaurants very close by. "

The breakfast was good and staff were attentive to dining guests always filling up table needs. Location wise, easy transportation, safety and modesty is what you need. I recommend the Dover."
