"A one night birthday trip. Staff are welcoming and attentive without being intrusive. Room comfortable if a little small. Room was very warm but solved by turning off the heat and opening the window. My only recommendation would be for the waiting staff to bring out the required knives for meals. Had soup and a roll with whipped butter but no knife to spread butter, also had steak again no steak knife. Both had to be requested. The rooms were clean and comfortable. Bathroom was compact but contained everything we needed. The pub was lovely and welcoming."

"Nice B&B perfectly positioned across the road from the Harrogate conference centre if your trip is for a visit there. I’d visit again if coming to Harrogate. It lists itself as a 4* hotel and that is why I gave it 4 rather than 5 stars as it doesn’t have the facilities you expect of a hotel - staffed reception desk, bar, restaurant etc - but is a very pleasant B&B. "Myself and my partner chose the green grove country house b&b as mini moon for after our wedding and wow they were amazing. Allowing us to check in early to being flexible and welcoming. The room was amazing and was everything we wanted and more. Excellent facilities and very very clean. Adding extra small touches and being super friendly. Breakfast was 10/10 and was both filling and really flavoured. We will be going back again hopefully in the future and maybe with two little children to make...

"A really lovely place to stay for a night in Ripon. The room was comfortable and clean with everything we needed. Breakfast was delicious but don't expect 'traditional' choices, as it is an Italian restaurant - no Weetabix here much to a fellow guest's disappointment! Some outside noise, as it is roadside but it quietened down and was a peaceful nights sleep. Members of staff were all lovely. All in all a highly recommended place to stay. "
