"We had the most amazing time and we are so glad we got the Patronas Towers view room. Absolutely stunning views. The area is awesome ...hotel staff super helpful booking taxis for our day trips...pool on the 33rd floor is awesome...turns into a bar/club at night but I was with my son so we didn't check that out. When we go back to KL we will be staying at Traders once again. "

"Excellent hotel and quite affordable for this Filipino American traveler from Manila and San Francisco Bay Area. The best part was the Lemon Garden restaurant where we had breakfast everyday and also sampled their dinner. Both are buffets and offered amazing choices of Malay, Chinese, Indian, Japanese and European/Western cuisine. My favorite was the dessert section that offered fresh pastries and ube (yam), coconut and mango ice cream! The dining staff were very professional and friendly. Since we were there for 7 nights, the dining staff got to know us by our first names. Chef Scott has done an excellent job with the food and staff. Major thumbs up to Chef Scott, his chefs and to Daniel (hotel GM) and the Shangri-La hote staff! Our room was beautiful, comfortable, very clean and well kept by the housekeeping staff. It is an upscale hotel to which I would gladly return and stay at. Best paet was the Petronas Towers were a short 15 minute walk away, as are some restaurants. "

"Beautifully presented hotel in the heart of KLCC, a couple of minutes walk to the towers/Suria KLCC. Very noisy, windows aren't double glazed and the fit out is a tad dated but huge rooms and space. Air con worked, strong wifi and easy walk to dining and other amenities. "
