"Stayed here over the Christmas 2023 for 7 nights. As many reviewers have commented, the property is furnished to a high standard, with particularly comfortable beds. "Excellent property for a large group of adults to explore the Peak District. Six en-suite rooms equally sized so no-one gets the small room! Kitchen/dining area easily accommodates the group and is well equipped. The lounge is enormous and has great views. Loads of walking from the Chapel or a short drive away. Pictures/description of the property can't do justice to the wow factor. Would definitely recommend."

"We enjoyed our short stay at the barn. The host Jackie was very friendly and kindly allowed us the use of a field to run the dogs, which we (and they) appreciated very much. There are also lovely walks from the property and Dovedale is only a short drive away. We would definitely return if we are ever up this way again. Thank you."

"The place was quite small and very old fashioned, advertised as having a kitchen but that was outside and round a corner and none of the appliances worked and it was ill-equipped, I would not stay here and again and would not recommend it to anyone. Also quite expensive considering the standard"

Well equipped spacious property , the only area of improvement would be the cleanliness of kitchen items / fridge and wooden floors. Double beds were on small side and a little uncomfortable"

"What a beautiful cottage in a fantastic location. The owners were very quick to reply to any queries that we had and we so helpful...thank you so much. The cottage itself is beautiful, plenty of space but so cosy and with a real fire. The kitchen contains everything you could wish for. Both bedrooms are really comfortable and the bathroom is spacious and has a great shower. We will definitely be returning. "
